The Café will be open to students and parents on a weekly basis, providing a great opportunity for our students to learn so many life-skills while enjoying the work that they will be doing.

There will be many items in the café including drinks, chips, candy bars, and muffins. Everything will be prepackaged to make sure that all safety and health standards are met.

The High School students in Mr. JB Erickson’s class have practiced many skills since the beginning of the year to ensure that they were ready to open this café. These students have had months of practice learning to count money, as well as learning how to operate a cash register. Each student will have different jobs in the café to make sure that all areas are taken care of and that the café runs smoothly. They have also practiced how to greet strangers or visitors when they enter the building with professionalism and self-confidence. The students know that they are responsible for every aspect of this café and cannot wait to show the parents as well as their peers how much they have learned.
